Most banner ads annoy me, especially those with frenetic animation, but I have a particular dislike for those that mimic Windows alert popups. The cuteness factor wears off immediately after seeing the first one, leaving only the sleaziness — after all, aren’t these ads just trying to momentarily fool newbie or inattentive surfers [...]
Like too many netizens with easy access to the ‘Net, I’ve yielded to the temptation to publish some of my random, irrelevant, mutterings on the Web — even though only an infinitesimal few will have any interest in them.
Yet another redesign. I’ve restructured the site hierarchy and have begun using style sheets (CSS) and server-side includes (SSI). Consider these pages experimental while I learn the practicalities and gotchas of CSS.
