Tag Cloud Page
The tag cloud was getting bloated, so I’ve cut the count back to the default (45) and have set up a separate Tag Cloud page that displays all the tags.

Upgrade to WordPress 2.6.3
I’ve just upgraded to WordPress 2.6.3. It was relatively simple — just scp the files class-snoopy.php and version.php into the wp-includes directory. The upgrade to 2.7 is due November 10th, but I’ll postpone upgrading until we hear back from the trenches. Previous upgrade: 2.6.2.

Rebooted
The hornlo.org server was rebooted about 18:45 PDT (20:45 CDT), after I reported it unreachable; I’m not sure how long it was out of service. Appears to be ok now.

Comment Spam
Usually spam comes from random IP addresses, but lately I’ve gotten a lot from 200.63.42.136 (supposedly somewhere in Panama or Mexico). The Akismet plugin does an excellent job of catching comment spam, but I’ve grown tired of seeing this particular address over and over again in the spam queue, so I’ve blocked that IP. If [...]
